Burson-Marsteller Africa is proud to have been nominated for and to have won both individual and network awards in recent years: Robyn de Villiers, Burson-Marsteller Africa's Chairman and CEO, who in 2016 became the only African to have been awarded a SABRE Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement, for her visionary leadership in creating a unique network of indigenous, in-country communications consultancies and the Financial Mail ADFOCUS Industry Leader award in 2017, and Burson-Marsteller Africa in recognition of our position as the pre-eminent communications network across Africa.
These include the Financial Mail ADFOCUS African Impact Award 2017, the Agency Network of the Year award in 2015 and 2016, the Gold PRISM Award for African Agency of the Year in 2016 and 2017 and the Holmes Report African Consultancy of the Year in 2009 and 2015. Burson-Marsteller Africa is also the only agency to have been a finalist in all nine years of the award. The award was won by our partners in Nigeria and Kenya in 2010 and 2011 respectively, giving us four winners out of the nine years of the award.
